How To Wear Black
By Janice Wee
Black is a sophisticated color that the fashion world is in love with. However, it is a tricky color to wear. The problem with black is that it drains the color from your face. Unlike red that brings color to your cheeks, black makes you look sickly, if your coloring isn't strong enough for black. You can wear black beautifully if your skin is red from a sun burn, or you have naturally ruddy skin. Black will tone down your color and make you look amazing. If you like that pale, goth look, then black will make look paler so it would work for you. Anyone else would do well using a touch of makeup if you wear black. A blusher is your best friend if you wear black. Use a peach or coral blush if you have warm skin tones. Use a pink or even fuschia blush if you have cool skin tones. Take a large powder brush and dust the color lightly over your cheeks. Then continue dusting your forehead, chin and nose to put in the color black takes away from you. That way, you'd look great in black. |
